This is a favorite at our house. Some people like vanilla almond milk but we like it plain. If you like vanilla just add 1 Tablespoon when you blend it the last time.
1 C almonds, soaked at least 8 hours
5 C water
3 T agave nectar
In a blender blend the soaked almonds and about 2 c water until completely blended. Strain the liquid through a nut bag to get all the pulp separated from the 'milk'. Rinse out the blender and out the milk in it with the remaining water, salt and agave. Blend again. Refrigerate.
