Perfectly Chocolate Chocolate Cake

This recipe is a Hershey's favorite. My mom has had it in her file for years and we absolutely LOVE the chocolate celebration in our mouths every time we eat it!

Perfectly Chocolate Chocolate Cake
2 C sugar 2 eggs
1 ¾ C flour 1 C milk
¾ C cocoa ½ C oil
1 ½ tsp baking powder 2 tsp vanilla
1 ½ tsp baking soda 1 C boiling water
1 tsp salt

Heat oven to 350. Grease and flour two 9 in round cake pans.
Stir together all dry ingredients. Add wet ingredients except boiling
water and mix on medium speed for 2 minutes. Stir in the water. Batter
will be very thin. Pour into prepared pans. Bake for 30-35 minutes.
Cool 10 minutes and then remove from pans and cool on wire racks.

Perfectly Chocolate Chocolate Frosting
½ C butter
2/3 C cocoa
3 C powdered sugar
1/3 c milk
1 tsp vanilla

Melt butter, stir in cocoa. Alternately add powdered sugar and milk.
Stir in vanilla. Beat until desired consistency.

I also make this cake. It is delicious. I love to make homemade cream cheese icing and cover it with that sometimes, too.
