Heaven in bisquit form!

This is my mom's recipe and one that I am glad did not get 'lost' like so many of her others. It is loved by everyone, especially when she makes the country gravy to go along with it. When the recipe is doubled something seems to make them even better. Maybe it is because you get to eat more or have more people to share them with. Either way we will never have another bisquit recipe in our house. Grandma Hayes' Famous Biscuits

2 c flour (I do 1/2 wheat, 1/2 white)
3 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 c butter
3/4 to 1 c milk
Mix all dry ingredients. Cut in butter. Add milk. Handeling as little as possible oll out and then cut with biscuit cutter. Bake 450 degrees for 10 minutes.
