It smells like the front lawn!

Lunch!

Kale Pear Smoothie

1 banana
1 orange
1 pear
1 C kale leaves
1 C water
4 ice cubes

Blend until smooth! Enjoy!

Another breakfast delight- Beet Elixir

This is another juice that I do in the mornings to change things up a bit. I really like this one and it is VERY red! Beets are high in iron which is a good thing for me. Years ago after giving birth to my third child I hemorrhaged and lost almost 1/2 the blood in my body. Because I was only 26 they thought I would be fine without a blood transfusion and told me to eat things high in iron. Needless to say I have always been a little on the anemic side so this drink gives me what I need...and it tastes great!

Beet Elixir

1 medium beet
6-8 carrots
2 large apples

Juice all ingredients and enjoy!
