Heather at Sherry Trifle chose the recipe this week. I was worried- that is why it took me two days to get the time and guts up to make it. I wasn't sure that chocolate and ginger should go together. I am pretty picky about my chocolate. I don't think that fruit and chocolate should be together either!
I was watching my neice and nephew today and she wanted to help. I wish I would've gotten a picture of her helping. She is so stinkin' cute. Anyway, we got it all made and I ate a piece before dinner- yes, before- and it wasn't that bad. Although I didn't do the triple ginger thing. I actually only added the ground ginger. It smelled like Christmas in my house and even though I am not sure I will make it again I am glad I made it this time. See Heather's blog for the recipe if you are interested!
